What is a Business Account Package Policy?

The Business Account Package Policy (BAPP) is designed for small businesses. It is similar to a homeowners policy as it includes both Property & Liability coverage on the same policy. This policy is offered by an "A" rated and Admitted insurance carrier.

What kind of business do BAPPs insure?

Many retail stores and small offices are eligible for this program. Contractors and large businesses should refer to our standard package policies. You also need to have been in business for at least three years or at least one principal should have three years of management experience with another company.

The biggest strength of the BAPP is the coverage which is automatically included. Below are some of the included coverages with their standard limits. Limits denoted with a "+" can be increased.

What is the Minimum Premium?

In California, the minimum premium is $750. Many of other States have minimum premiums of $500.

Typical Exclusions

While BAPP policies generally have very broad coverage, there are a few exposures in particular that you should be aware of that are not insurable on a BAPP, but can be insured on another policy:
